Delete your account or your data

Delete your whole account
Deleting is immediate and irreversible. It removes your profile, your coaching conversations, the client file your coach keeps about you, your assessment results, your goals and action steps, your mood check-ins, your daily audio episodes, and anything you brought into the Toolkit (CVs, job descriptions, cover letters). Support tickets are kept for our records with your account detached from them. Copies inside encrypted database backups expire automatically within 30 days.
You can do it yourself in three places:
- On the web: sign in at ascendcareer.ai/app, open Your file, then Delete my account and all data.
- iPhone app: Settings (the gear icon), then Delete my account and all data.
- Android app: Settings (the gear icon), then Delete my account and all data.
Delete only some of your data
You do not have to delete everything to remove something. While signed in you can delete individual items and keep your account: single facts your coach remembers about you (Your file), individual goals and their action steps, saved CV versions, and saved job descriptions.
Prefer us to do it?
Email info@nxcore.nl from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account (or tell us which items to delete). We complete the deletion and confirm by reply. We may ask you to confirm from your account email address so that nobody else can delete your data. You can also send the request from Feedback and support inside the app or on the web.
Before you delete
You can export everything Ascend holds about you first: on the web under Your file, or in the app under Settings, Export my data.
If you have a paid subscription, deleting your Ascend account does not by itself cancel billing that runs through a store. Cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings, a Google Play subscription in Play Store subscriptions, and a subscription bought on our website from Manage subscription before you delete.
