Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using Ascend. Last updated July 2026.
What Ascend is
Ascend is an AI-powered career-coaching service operated by NexaCore, a registered trade name of LinkRoute Logistics International B.V. (KVK 84263482), Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It provides guidance and reflection to support your career development. It is a tool, not a person.
Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old to use Ascend.
Not professional advice
Ascend is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed advice. It does not provide therapy or crisis services. If you may be in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and use the service lawfully.
- You are responsible for the decisions and actions you take. Ascend offers guidance; the choices are yours.
- Do not misuse the service (no abuse, automated scraping, or attempts to disrupt it).
No guarantees
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific career outcomes, employment, or results. AI responses can be imperfect or wrong; use judgement.
Subscriptions and billing
In the iOS app: subscriptions bought in the app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID at the price shown before you buy. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel any time in your device's subscription settings. Refunds for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple. Plans purchased on the website or in the app work everywhere you use Ascend.
On the web: paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions billed through Stripe. Listed prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout based on your country. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial; when the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the plan price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings (Manage subscription); your plan then stays active until the end of the period already paid, and no further payments are taken. Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged.
EU consumers: because the service is digital content delivered immediately, by starting a paid subscription you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right lapses once the service has been fully performed; you keep the ability to cancel future renewals at any time as described above. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we will look at it honestly.
Your data
Your information is handled as described in the privacy notice. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, and may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Nothing in them limits mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
